We don’t price match
Not because we’re awkward — but because people don’t usually come to RubyTune for the cheapest quote. They come based on reputation, specialist knowledge, and trust.
There will always be someone cheaper. The real difference is what happens before, during, and after the work.
Why we don’t price match
- We’re not a volume service. We’re selective about the vehicles we take on and the standards we work to.
- We put the time in. Proper checks, clear explanations, and the correct approach for the vehicle in front of us.
- We stand behind what we do. We’re here for the long run, and our pricing reflects that responsibility.
If you’ve found a cheaper quote
No problem at all — genuinely.
If your priority is the cheapest price, we may not be the right fit. But if your priority is having the work carried out properly by a specialist with a reputation to protect, you’re in the right place.
Are we the cheapest?
No.
We’ve never aimed to be.
Interestingly, our customers still come back — and send their friends. Which suggests price isn’t the only thing that matters.
Fair pricing, done properly
Our pricing is based on the actual job, not a race to the bottom. The cost can vary depending on the vehicle, ECU type, software version, and what’s involved — especially on newer vehicles.
