Because the engine and drivetrain hardware are identical, lower-powered variants can safely benefit from higher factory-aligned calibration where appropriate.

Factory upgrade pathway to 185 PS / 420 Nm

All SID212-equipped Transit and Transit Custom vehicles use the same 2.0 EcoBlue engine and drivetrain. The highest factory output is 185 PS and 420 Nm.

Factory upgrade examples:

105 PS / 360 Nm → 185 PS / 420 Nm
Increase: +80 PS and +60 Nm

130 PS / 385 Nm → 185 PS / 420 Nm
Increase: +55 PS and +35 Nm

170 PS / 405 Nm → 185 PS / 420 Nm
Increase: +15 PS and +15 Nm

185 PS / 420 Nm → Already at factory maximum output

This is the highest factory calibration Ford engineered for this platform.

Because the engine and drivetrain hardware are identical, lower-powered variants can safely benefit from this increased output when calibrated correctly.
