Who Are We?

Hi, my name is Andy McCord and I’m the Managing Director for RubyTune™.
As an individual, I’ve always had a passion for cars and have a history of being involved in the automotive industry, I was chip-tuning supercharged VW vehicles dating back to 2004 and was involved in the production of magazines such as Max Power, Performance Car, Performance Ford and Autosport to name but a few.

We’re a family business with old school values, which probably explains why we are the preferred suppliers to the motortrade.
I’ve been remapping vehicles over 6 years now, which equates to approximately 2,500 happy customers and a lot of experience!

I have successfully completed advanced training in Engine ECU Software Tuning through the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) and hold the esteemed Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification, a benchmark of excellence widely recognised across the automotive sector. Additionally, I am certified by Garrett to their highest Expertise Level 5 in turbocharger systems. My company remains committed to staying at the forefront of vehicle technology by continually investing in cutting-edge programming tools and ongoing professional development.

Samantha, (below, who also happens to be my wife) has worked as a service advisor for BMW, so it’s safe to say she knows a little about cars. She generally takes customer enquiries, and quotes, also manages my diary, leaving me free to attend to customers’ vehicles.
