Who Are We?

Hi, I’m Andy McCord, Managing Director of RubyTune Ltd.

I’ve been involved in the automotive industry for over 20 years, with a background in vehicle performance, software calibration, and technical publishing within the motor trade.

Today, RubyTune operates as a specialist provider of vehicle software diagnostics, ECU programming and calibration services, supporting both private customers and the motor trade across Kent & East Sussex.

We are a family-run business built on transparency, technical understanding and doing things properly.

We’re a family-run business built on traditional values, which has led to us becoming a trusted partner to the motor trade.

With over six years’ experience in ECU programming and calibration, we’ve supported more than 2,500 customers across a wide range of vehicles – building our reputation on a consistent, diagnostic-led approach.

I have completed advanced training in ECU software calibration through the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI), along with On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) certification as part of SERMI training. I also hold a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, a recognised standard of process and quality within the automotive sector, and I am Garrett certified to Expertise Level 5 in turbocharger systems.

We remain committed to staying at the forefront of vehicle technology through continued investment in professional tools, training, and ongoing development.

Samantha, Director of RubyTune Ltd, has been an integral part of the business for over five years. With a background as a BMW service advisor, she brings valuable industry experience and a strong understanding of customer care.

She oversees enquiries, quotations and diary management, ensuring a smooth and organised service from first contact through to completion.
