Programming Process

Once the Transporter had passed its initial health checks, professional battery support was connected to maintain stable voltage throughout the procedure. This is particularly important when programming multiple control units, as interruptions or voltage drops can cause communication or programming failures.

The original engine ECU software was read and the engine calibration prepared before being written back to the vehicle. The DSG gearbox software was then programmed to complement the revised engine torque delivery and improve the way the transmission responds.

Following programming, the vehicle was scanned again using VCDS to confirm successful completion and check for any unexpected diagnostic faults.
