2.2 TDCi Ford Transit – SID208 ECU
The SID208 ECU was fitted to 2.2 TDCi Transit models and allows full professional calibration and PCM software updates when handled correctly.
Ford later released revised PCM software to improve engine protection and reliability, which we can apply where required.

2.0 EcoBlue Ford Transit – SID211 ECU
The SID211 ECU was introduced with the early 2.0 EcoBlue Transit platform from approximately 2016 onwards, replacing the earlier 2.2 TDCi engine.
This ECU introduced updated engine management systems and improved emissions control, while still allowing full professional calibration when handled using correct specialist tools.
Correct calibration improves drivability and torque delivery while maintaining safe operating conditions.

2.0 EcoBlue Ford Transit – SID212 ECU
Later Transit and Transit Custom models use the SID212 ECU, which introduced increased security and more advanced engine control systems.

Latest Generation Transit ECUs – 2024 Onwards
The latest generation Transit introduced from 2024 onwards uses updated ECU platforms including MD1CS systems, featuring increased security and more advanced control architecture.
